Akidere Co. is an indie art studio based in California co-founded by a married couple with a passion for the simple things in life. The artist of the studio Autumn, is a self-taught digital artist. Inspired by the art of anime, cozy games, and nostalgia for the countryside - where she often visited her Grandparents, she embraces the beauty of simplicity, creativity, and comfort. The studio manager Coby, assists Autumn in pursuing her passion as an artist by managing the business side of the studio.

Akidere (あきデレ) is a name that combines the Japanese words Aki "autumn" (あき) and Dere (デレ) which comes from the term "Deredere" meaning "lovestruck" (デレデレ). In anime "Dere" is a Japanese suffix often combined with other words to describe a character's personality type. Akidere was created to evoke a cozy and loving spirit with a deep appreciation for life's simple joys.
